Thread: Christmas catch

For over a month been releasing most or all of my catches . Even got my fishing buddies to release a few . Yesterday thought it was time to bring home a good mess .
Changed lakes yesterday but fished like always with Huckabee Trident jig pole and Southern Pro tubes . Got a late start at 10 am and wind was already blowing . Fished wood anywhere from 5' to over 15' deep . Caught and released a bunch. Kept a good mess for a change since have not been bringing any home last few trips . Had one over 16'' and one over 15''. Most just solid keepers . Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and can get out in the warmer weather to catch a mess .

My friend we had a big mess of those Arkansas crappie for Christmas Eve, I set my son up with the big fryer and some meal and went to town. He said he fried sixty fillet, the family and friends said it was the best. I can't wait to come to Ar to fish with my friend again, he's simply the best.
