Would be winter killed about every year . Shallow and flood control so lake gets flushed out most years . Would need to be stocked ever spring . Wish that was a good possiability here . They loose most of Threadfins on Dardanelle in a bad cold year . This is about as far north as Threadfins survive other than super deep lakes up north . If they can't find water above 45 degrees hard for Threadfins to survive the winter.
