I cant read this thread is it in the new fishing reg book
Sadly our Federal fish and wildlife and state agentcies are not proactive enough . Zebra Mussels , invasive Carp and invasive plants get here then it is like trying to put the Genie back in the bottle . Millions spent and more restrictions on Sportsmen and women trying to slow the spread . Sadly they are here to stay and all we can hope for is to slow their spread . The Giant Salvinna can double everyday and take over a lake with one sprig hauled on a boat trailier . Zebra mussels can spread also through water carried in boats between lakes . We must not carry these invasives to new water bodies if we want to keep good fishing . The list of invasives seem to increase almost yearly . Snakeheads , Silver and Bighead Carp are the reason we can't move bait fish from one body to another . Some may not be able to disquinish between them and native species used for bait . We can help or be part of the problem . Inconvience on us but just one of those things that are needed .
Could those thing be moved on the legs of waterfowl? Floods?
I see all kinds of holes and nonsense in this regulation. Some of you don’t. I’m glad I live in a country where we’re free to discuss our opinions freely.
