If you knew how many guys catching limits several days a week you would be shocked . Many try to keep it quiet but fishing will suffer if regs not tweaked . I have had several tell me on other sites and in messages that it they too feel regs need to be looked at . As long as some want to see fishing reports I will post about one a week . I will keep the rest of the days private . You sir are what we call a lurker . In almost a dozen years have made a post every couple years . Feel free to share your knowlege with our group all comments welcome just keep it family friendly .

I doubt he/she is a lurker, but a regular who has an alternate account to post from so they don't have to worry about being blackballed. I could be wrong, but I would assume this is the case.
I enjoy catching my limit when I go out, but that rarely happens. When I first started, that was my goal every time. Now my goal is to test what I've learned and put it to practice. I'm fairly new to crappie fishing. I've done it for about three years and unfortunately, the last two years, I haven't had a whole lot of time to do it due to work. I also enjoy eating crappie and that is what turned me on to it. I was a catfisherman only prior to taking on the crappie challenge. The challenge intrigues me and I always want to get better, but just like deer hunting, if you can't be out on the water a lot and invest in brush piles, you're probably not going to limit out every time you go except in the Spring.
I would have to disagree that catching my limit and posting it to try and force a change is the appropriate way of doing it. But hey, that's my opinion and we all have them. It doesn't mean we have to draw a line in the sand and be on either side. I enjoy seeing people catch fish, and if they get their limit, more power to them. I know you, Nimrod, enjoy fishing and you do a good job at it. And I'm sure the people you give the fish to are very grateful. I've given away at the ramp several times as well, but my giveaway was usually due to me not catching enough to want to mess with cleaning. A limit of nice keepers puts a lot of food in the freezer for an average family. I drive an hour one way to fish, and due to my job, my mind fights me on fun vs efficiency. I want to catch all I can for my investment, but more recently I've just enjoyed being on the water and catching some and not having to worry about work.
There are people out there who don't want us to catch and eat any of these animals. Look at this recent election, this country is divided right down the center. If we as hunters and fishermen can't stand together and agree to disagree, how can we fight against these very unionized groups that would rather see us eat tofu?
