Default Decided to fish instead of Deer hunt this afternoon .

I have only hunted one morning so far but getting too old to be Deer hunting 2 miles off road . After yesterday I got up late and decided to fish this afternoon . Fished wood with same tackle as always . Targeted fish with livescope but was a little tough in the wind . Flipping purple/chartreuse Umbrella tubes rigged on Timmy Tom insert jig heads . Swung them in with Huckabee Phantom 13' rod . Kept a limit and had an old friend meet me at the store to pick them up .

Looks like the choice to fish paid off.

    Nice!
Letís face it. On top of the 2 mile hike to your spot, 30lbs of fish is easier to deal with than 200lb deer much less moving it 2mi.
I do like to hunt but have gotten very selective on my trigger pull for the reasons mentioned above.
