I know where a stratos is located here in South Arkansas. Looks really clean with a 200 john/evinrude on it. Wants 6700.00 for it. Don't know anything other than that about it.
If the guy is a dedicated green carp fisherman, he may want to try a bass cat. They even have a big tourny here on Bull Shoals. There was something like 500 boats in it this year. It just finished a couple of weeks ago. Didn't pay any attention to who won, I just stayed in the MO end of the lake with Longliner.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
Hey Dave, I heard awhile back from an old buddy that basscat puts on a tourney every year somewhere up there and while you are out fishing, they will take your trailer into the shop for repairs. (New paint if needed and packs wheel bearings for free.) Any truth to that that you or anyone knows of?
I have not heard of that, but it sounds like a great idea, however, with 500 boats on the water that would be at least 200 trailers getting fixed. I think that would be kind of overwhelming for even the factory. The tournement is the first weekend in May and only Basscat boats can participate. I think they have several launch sites to accomodate the number of boats. It is a realy big deal in Mt. Home every year. But, if you are not in the tourney, you need to fish somewhere they aint. Longliner and I were up in MO that weekend and we did pretty good. Kept 7 I think and threw back a bunch that would not make the 10" limit (some were only 1/4 inch short). Even then, some of the Basscats made the run but not many.
