    Ok fellas,
Missouri has had to deal with the buffalo gnats several years as well.Ours are just beginning to get bad this year ...nother couple weeks and it will be miserable all over again. The best spray recipe I've used (have tried several) is to get a gallon water container and dump out 2/3 of the water, then add 4-5 bottles of imitation vanilla,1 cup of the brown (original) Listerine.Fill some small spray bottles and apply about every half hour to 45 minutes. It is a short period of relief but it's better than full-time misery.
The other thing I do is to take 2 - 1,000 mg soft gels of garlic every day.Had read it is supposed to help so I do it to better endure the gnats. It takes a few weeks to begin to help.
Lastly when they are really bad I will put in the soft foam ear plugs and again it slows them down....Sounds nutz but does also help.Only problem is you get to experience what being hearing impaired is like which I am anyway.
You might try the spray and I hope it helps with the danged gnats.

I used to also add another product called" Buggins" to the spray but decided it works just as good without it.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

    Hey Gomer,

Yes this "out and in gnat " has come to the natural state to fish Horseshoe lake about 20 years ago. Haven't been back since ,not that I wouldn't enjoy a trip sometime.Thought some Gnat spray info might be appreciated....apparently not by all.

I could not make it without my Outdoor Protection bug spray. It is all natural essential oils and IT WORKS! It not only keeps the gnats and mosquitoes etc away but stops itching if you do get bit. You can order this on this website. buggawfinc.com It's cheaper by the dozen. Once you get it, all your friends will want it too. I have ordered 4 cases so far and I'm out again. Check it out!

Amber Romance from Victoria’s Secret. Make sure you come home with some fish though if you know what I mean.

    Hey Monkeywrench,
Figured if you like it enough to order 4 cases I would try it on your word...Ordered Outdoor Protection- 1 case of 12...they sent the case +2 extra bottles,+ one of their candles. This stuff is not cheap .Does smell pretty good. The weather is staying cold for now so the gnats here(40 miles N W of St.Louis)have not blossomed. Sounds goofy but I am anxious to try this stuff on them when they are bad...Suspect the test is coming pretty soon.Lookout gnats i'm armed and dangerous. Har Har Har
    Will report back later...
