Thread: Free fishing days?

My daughter had triplets so I am heading down to Maumelle this Friday. Just checking to see if there were any free fishing days where I didn't need to buy a license so I can hit a couple of the smaller ponds if I get a chance. I know some of the states were offering this since the corona virus is going around. Thanks.

Yes, you will need a license. Free fishing week was a proclamation by the Arkansas Governor. It ended March 29th. On a side note, I grew up in Maumelle and my parents still live there. Not a bad town but a lot has changed since we moved there in 1984. I used to run around like a wild child in the woods. Now almost all of the woods are gone. Crazy how places change like that.
