Good looking rig. Fish should be about to come on.

I had a slow day on a body of water I have not fished in months . Caught several White Bass , couple Catfish and 18 Crappie . Big Crappie was only 1.91 lbs . I put in a long day livescoping , did not find many but ones I found wanted to bite .

At least you caught a fish. I floated a local creek two Fridays ago and didn’t get a single bite! I fished hard and threw everything at them for the first half mile (2 hours). I ended up just enjoying the nice day and great float the rest of the day.

Greers can be a tough lake to fish. We sampled crappie in the Choctaw area this past Fall/Winter. We had very low catch rates due to where the crappie were and where and how we had to set these nets. Our catch rates were really low and then we would talk to anglers at the ramp and they had a few live wells full of crappie. Go figure...

That’s the same spots they were when we were running our nets. Can’t catch suspended crappie with nets in timber. Might not get the nets out of the timber.
