Both have some great fishing. Just all private. Sucks to be poor but I've learned to deal with it. I was born with nothing and still have most of it.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

I'd like to fish that reservoir on the left side of 226 on the way to cash. Just don't have the money.

I’ve heard of good fishing around tulot and up and down the river. Just takes time to find them and learn to fish rivers. My grandpa was great at it but I much prefer to spider rig so I drive out to other counties/state.

As far as 226 I don’t have first hand knowledge but from the amount of people I heard bought memberships last year it may not take long to put a hurt on it. Gotta give the guy credit he’s greatly reducing his irrigation cost by leasing fishing and hunting rights on that thing. By the way I have no problem with private leases I think it’s smart moves on their part if they don’t fish or hunt.

While I agree our counties aren’t great for crappie there are spots and good spots within an easy drive. We have 4 lane highways leading in all major fishing directions. Jump and go.

I was shown some pics of fish being caught out of the 226 water hole yesterday, and was told they were maxed on members

There’s good fishing around here on the rivers if you have the patient to wait on them to get right. Been fishing them my whole life
