I would follow you if you did videos of you when you are checking lakes for fish etc. Would be cool to see you guys doing all the wonderful things you do to help manage the fishing populations of our precious resources.
My Uncle Dan and I were suppose to paddle some canoes upstream in a pool that was too deep to wade and too long to swim. Well it rained hard in The drainage we were going to fish and the creek came up 6 feet! We decide to float a 5 mile section. It ended up being pretty sketchy. We had to cross a dozen big trees that were across the creek. Some we could go under but some we had to pick up the canoes and go over. The flows were too high and the turbidity was too high to catch fish. We ended up finding a few bass and sunfish in the mouth of a creek. It also poured on us for a couple hours but it felt great because of the heat and humidity. I recorded a lot of the trip and may try to make a YouTube video of it.

Thanks Fastdrop! I have actually recorded a lot of us working out in our lakes. I’m not sure of my employer’s opinion about me having a YouTube channel with work videos on it. I know that Mojorig (Jeremy Risley) started making YouTube videos of his districts work. I will have to see what our agencies administration thinks about his YouTube page.

I'd also watch. Just yesterday I was watching an AGFC YouTube video about how you guys set up and work trap nets for crappie on Lake Conway. Very informative. Makes me really appreciate the work that goes into taking care of our waters.
Speaking of Lake Conway, my dad just bought a house right on it. I haven't made it down there yet, but I'd like to take him crappie fishing when I do. I've never been on the lake, any tips to get me started? After reading about the stumps and boat trails, I think I'll leave the bass boat at home and pull the 25hp jonboat lol.Sent from my SM-G950U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
