I was talking to a man the other day about all the flooding, displacement of sand and how many of the cutoff oxbows will be replenished and likely stocked again or retracted from wildlife. I didnt think about the few cutoff lakes, which Im assuming many are on private land.
It makes you think there may be many big changes on the river, but maybe not so much.
There will be sand bars and debris for sure . Hopefully it will help the fishing . It seems like last winter hurt the Threadfin Shad on the river. I am not seeing any in the water on sonar or in bellies of Crappie . Last trip I caught 9 Crappie that were so thin I let them go .
