A little bitter with the sweet

Going all the way back to pre-spawn - fishing has really been good this year. We were still finding a lot of fish in 4-7 ft. of water - 4-6 weeks after the spawn - mostly catching spawned out females. However that shallow bite had slowed down the past 2 trips. Now for the bitter- couple weeks ago driving home - I heard somewhat of a grinding noise around the trailer - you guessed it - the bearings had gone out. Had to completely replace the axle, hubs, and spindles- I think I overgreased the bearing and blew out the rear seal. Leaving in a couple of days for a camping trip at Quarry Dam campsite below the Norfork dam - probably spend a little time on the Buffalo and White River - looking forward to good food and good times with our son and his family.
