With 21 ft of high muddy water, I don't see how it could hurt mine.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Around here it usually shuts em down for 2-3 days ! But once they are committed they usually don’t go far!

It will slow them down a couple of days, but the spawn is on, in my area!

I have reached the time that if I do not enjoy the conditions to heck with it . Cooler than 60 degrees I don't fish And warmer than 60 I don't hunt . ----------------------------Retirement is good .

Last year about this same time we got on some spawning fish and the overnight temps dropped to 28 degrees. My son called me that night and ask how the bite had been lately and when I said real good, naturally he wanted to go the next morning. That next morning it was cold and the wind was blowing hard. Guess what, those spawning fish were still there and we got quick limits. Good thing because it was definitely chilly.

Yesterday I was fishing under bridge from the bank. Tossed a roadrunner with a beaver tail. Counted to 4 and got one almost every retrieve. Put the big Mammas full of eggs back kept the pan size. Mix of Black and white real aggressive. Windy and cold. Today suns out no wind and they are hitting jig under cork shallow.
