Default A little windy but a beautiful day to get out and Fight Cancer

The last seven months have been the toughest days of my life, 2 wks and 5 day hospital stays, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, high fevers, kidney failure, blood transfusions, so many medical treatments I can't remember them all in the process of taking chemo and radiation fighting lung
cancer. Cancer appears to be gone according to my cancer Doc but Final scans will be given after radiation has run.its course in two or three weeks. Hope the Doc reports are cancer free, Every thing is looking good, Still battling heart failure but it is also getting better. Funny how i feel better after being taken off Chemo, and don't it beat all I blew a wheel bearing on my boat trailer and some how busted my rear depth finder transducer. What else can happen. Went out today with my Uncle and Dad for six hours and caught a bunch of good ones. The first ones since last November. It felt good to feel good enough to get out and fish again.and feel the thump again. Some of our better fish from today. Big Thanks to Midsouth Super Jigs for bringing these beautiful crappie over the bow of my boat. Keep Fighting...

Like the old saying goes, sometimes when it rains it pours. However, I am always amazed that God always know exactly how much rain we need. Thanks for the pics and we will sure keep praying for you.

It is so great to hear from you Russ. Fantastic to hear that everything is working out. We're all praying for you buddy that you beat this. Keep the good reports coming. I mean both reports, the great health reports, and the great fishing reports.
