Hey guys,
First time poster. I just want to start by saying in the past year that I’ve learned about this site I’ve learned quite a lot and incorporated some new techniques into my fishing habits that have paid off well. Thank you.
I fish Conway and Ouachita mostly and do good for myself, but have been thinking about trying my luck on maumelle and the Arkansas river.
I read a thread on vertical casting and was wondering if anyone has tried it or had any luck with it on the Arkansas river. It seems like a simple and effective technique. Any thoughts as to what time of year would be best. I was looking at trying it around bridge pylons downtown maybe?
I can't help you on that subject exactly, but I wanted to say welcome to the site from Batesville.

Welcome. I have not fished the river with this method. But it's very effective in the places I do fish.
