Not many on here that fish up that way. Maybe someone will see this and give you a heads up.
Anyone been doing any good at bull shoals lately? Gonna be there in about 10 days around shoal creek. Any info would be great

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Man, for some reason Bull Shoals is hardly ever mentioned on here as has been stated before. Jackie53 is the only one I know of who's ever mentioned fishing it much, so you might send him a pm and see if he could help you. And mojorig I think is the biologist for that lake you might pm him as well and see if he could help. I think they just sank a bunch of tree tops in that lake recently and he could tell you how to find them with a gps. Wish I could help you more.

Fished Tucker Hollow area 3/25 caught 12 water 54 surface temp . Used a 12' jig pole to fish the buck brush with a 1/16 oz jig vertical. Went back 3/26 caught 1 water temp 52. Until the water temp warms a little and stays that way it will be on and off i think. They should be on the banks good by the time you arrive if we don't flood again this year.

Outstanding information guys! Thank you for the reply. Every time we get into the crappie on bull they are absolute HOGS... just got back from lake Washington in MS and was completely spoiled. Hopefully we can keep riding the wave and get a good mess of them
Talked to my brother in law who lives in Lakeview yesterday. He has been catching quite a few but not many over the 10" mark. He has been doing well on bass, and on a good note the water level is right. These rains and temp swings have been tough this year.
For numbers, I would focus on Lead Hill and above. There have been lots of reports coming from the uppermost part of Bull. The quality is currently good all over the lake. High water in Bull does wonders for the fish populations in the lake but makes it tough on the anglers.

That's actually where we are staying.... Lakeview resort. We have an annual bass tournament for the fire dept there every year. I like to spend 1 day of pre fish for crappie and the rest of the time chasing bass. However I usually give up after 2-3 hours of no bites of crappie... one of these year I'll find a spot that always holds em and hopefully fill the box
