Has anyone been fishing Dardanelle post flood? I was curious if it would be worth a trip this weekend. Anyone finding fish up shallow on the banks yet?

Plenty of people piled in the narrows by Shoal Bay this weekend. Heard they were catching some
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
Id be more on the southeast side toward mill creek. May be worth a shot if the water temp was right.
A lot of boats spider rigging piney.
I counted 27 boats within the first 1/4 mile as you leave Piney Bay and head down the channel towards the river Saturday morning. That and dealing with the bass boats that come zig zagging through there at wide open makes me wait till its not the weekend to fish in there. Sure is nice to be retired !!

Are they catching them?Whats the bite like?
I gave up after an hour and a half due to a trolling motor problem with 4 crappie, several white bass and a drum. One guy said he had been there 4 hours and had 7. Some had not caught any crappie. I think it is just anticipation more than catching at this point in time, but I bet if you hung in there for a while you could get a mess. All fish were still in the deeper water- like 20 plus feet. Water temp was 55.6 when I got there and got to 57 before I left about 11:30
