    Went to hogue today with a buddy who’s got his boat all rigged up to spider rig caught about 30 that were all about 8 inches long but guess who’s been bite by the spider bug!!! Had a fish on 3 poles at one time today I’m hooked now

    Frustrating to see the size continue to struggle in that lake. I know that lake gets a ton of pressure, and I don’t have the answers as to what would fix it, but it’s frustrating. I figure it will do nothing but continue to get worse, especially with Poinsett being drained.

    We kept 2 there today. One small one and one 2lbs plus. Threw back close to 20 more. Several boats out there this afternoon. My Son had a good time wearing dad out on them today. That was the main point.

    I fished there as well Friday, Saturday and today. Caught a lot of nice fish each day but the crowd was insane. Had folks crowding me each day. One jerk actually ran into me trying to cut me off.

    Wow. I was fortunate and didn't have that happen around me. Everyone I was around appeared to be on good behavior. But we were mostly catching shorts. Had one boat in front of me when we caught the big one but they watched and kept on going across and never circled back around us.

    Didnt go last year havent been this year. went once year before and caught 2 solid fish and over a 100 small fish. ready to see it come back.
