Not a G3 tho. Yours is the Xpress Hyper Lift Crappie Boat.

I don't have one but my buddy does. We've fished on his boat several times and haven't found anything negative to say at all. They're built by Yamaha I think. I had G3 on my short list when I was looking. What put me over the top for my choice (Ranger C188) was my trip to the Ranger factory in Flippin, AR. If you get a chance go by and take a tour. The folks are very nice. I figured I'd support businesses in AR. Good luck.

I bought a new boat last year, I went with Excel but it was really close between it and the G3. One thing that these two brands have that many others dont (including Ranger) is .125 hull thickness. Most out there are only .100 thick. Just a tidbit of info . Happy hunting .

I have an older 1652 G3 with a 40hp yamaha that I got used. Been a great boat just wish it had a little more room. Console is handy but with a gun box and livewell it's pretty cramped. I have considered converting it to tiller. Since you're still shopping, try to imagine a fishing buddy, cooler, gear etc in there when you're looking at em.

One other thing i forgot to mention . Im pretty sure the tandem trailers that comes with the bigger G3's does have brakes on one axle , my Excel came with a diamond city tandem trailer with NO brakes, wish i had brakes on at least one axle. just something to consider and talk about when your deciding .
