    Default Arkansas Fish Attractors

The AGFC improved the way anglers can download fish attractor coordinates. There are Hummingbird, Lowrance, and Garmin files for every lake that has fish attractors in it. Have at it!

I have always used GPX files for my Lowrance HDS 3 and haven’t had any problems.

Ok, I'll give that a try and see if it works. Mine is the HDI 7 so it might be different, but maybe not. Thanks for the info!

Matt, have you had the man made attractors out enough years to have an opinion over their performance viruses natural
structure. I know their longevity is a lot better.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Scientifically speaking I don’t know yet. We are in the process of evaluating Mossback artificial structures and cedar trees on one of my lakes. I’ll get back to you in a few years when i have collected some data for a while. You are correct though. The artificial structures last a lot longer and that has to be considered in the analysis.

Most Lowrance fish finders require the .usr file to work.

Also, I have identified an issue with Humminbird that our GIS department wasn't aware of. They should have it fixed soon. After downloading a .hwr file, it must go in a folder called matrix or the Humminbird fishfinder will not recognize the .hwr files.
