Sounds a lot better than work! Welcome from the Bluff.
I went this morning from sunup till 10AM. Caught 3 with a black/char jig around a log jam. Couldn't get a bite in the lily pads. Its seems slow on Caney Creek.
Anybody have a good report for Caney Creek?

Don't know if this helps but the bite in caney creek is on now. Seems like the further up creek you go the better the fish get. I went out one morning with a friend last week and we just couldn't get a bite. went out the next day, same conditions with black/chartreuse and did very well in lily pads. live minnows didn't seem to work for me. On a side note Game and fish could make a small fortune in fines from the bank fisherman on that creek taking undersized fish.

I think that law is only for boat fishermen. Bank fisherman have there on fish link laws. I think one told me the other day " if it bites my hook he a keeper". I'll be glad when all the fish in to pond are the same size.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
