    Default Advice for Hot Springs

I will be moving / retiring next year to Hot Springs Village.
I live in Louisiana, used to catching a lot of Crappie here.
What are the hot spots around that area? So many lakes and water to choose from.
I know it's a lot to ask, but it would help with my anxiety

There are other lakes outside of the Village too. I can think of several that are within an hour.

Large by crappie standards. Excel 203, twenty foot center console with a 150 Merc.
Is there a line limit in Arkansas? I run 8 up front and can run 8 from the back seat.

Hahahahahahaha nimrod gonna get ya if ya a troller! The man seriously only needs one pole to limit every day! But to answer your question......there is no pole limit. But from what I have heard....if you fish alot in louisianna you prolly gonna be disappointed in the crappie fishing around hot springs. Not saying hot springs area is terrible, just not as good as I hear louisianna is.

Ouachita, Hamilton, Greeson, and Degray are all great crappie lakes pretty much year round. Summer time is pretty tough mainly because of boat traffic! My favorite season to fish on these lakes especially ouachita is in the fall and winter.

We have our days when we pound them. On average I catch and keep 20 or so, and only over 10", with about 5 being over 1.5 pounds. Like to dish itch my 9 year old grandson.Name: IMG_1268.JPG

But I know the lake I fish, and where the brush piles are.
