Great pic. I'm sure you probably enjoyed it as much as when you were a kid. Hope y'all get to take many more trips.
My dad turns 84 this week and we thought we would take Advantage of the unseasonably cool weather and go out on Beaver for a while this morning. We arraigned to leave my house for the for the lake at 5:30 (he was there at 5:15 in True Dad Fashion) He used to take me when I was little and it was the greatest thing ever to me. I'm happy to take him now. He has a little trouble getting in and out if the boat due to his knees being worn out by The Marine Corps and raising Watermelons, Pumpkins and Apples for 60+ years so we don't get to go often. Weather was calm and cloudy to start and he caught a 16" Crappie as soon as his Bandit reached crushing depth of 14 Ft. Fish were scattered and we ended up with a "Lucky Thirteen" Keepers. We header back to the ramp at 10:00 with plans to try it again soon.

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Great trip, I'm sure he had a blast
Good days are sometimes hard to find. You just had one. Good job.
Tell'em I'll be there.

Very nice payback for your father. Bet he thought so also. May you two have many more trips.
Fish hard live hard.
Nice job, I bet he'll be talking about this trip forever.

Great story and you have some memory for a lifetime.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
