well, if you can't do much about it, or eradicate it, it just seems to me that in the long run, it will take any lake over. kinda like mississippi kudzu

mixing it to a 50-50 concentration of bleach would probably set it back a bit.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

And the white crappie would be whiter than usual.

I went yesterday and did not see any of the algae bloom in the areas I fished. I fished from 9 am - 7 pm and managed 3 keepers. Not a great catching day but after 5 weeks of no fishing I enjoyed it anyway.

thought i saw your truck at the ramp, but left a bit before you did. i fished from bout 8:30 to 6:45. had one nice keeper size crappie, but let him go, 6/8 dinks, one 4 lb flathead, let him go, and missed at least three other keeper size crappie right at the boat using some new jigheads (not gonna be using em much longer if i keep missing fish on em though)!

i did not see any algae either, but was mostly out in the middle of the lake.

it was hot as all get out, with almost noooo breeze, whew!!

I fished Adams and Green lake area all day Monday through Wednesday and didn't see the algae bloom in there either. Caught many dinks 8 to 9-12" but only had six keepers for 3 days , pitiful for me. Was sure hot out there though! caught several good flatheads and blue channels so least I didn't starve plum to death!
