Thinking about Brewer or Dardanelle. Would rather go to Dard, but worried that its still like chocolate milk there.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.

I stopped by Lake Overcup after all the rain, a week ago last Friday, and it was high but the water was still pretty clear around the dam area. It might be were I would go if I was concerned about water clarity.

Thanks guys. Overcup did come to mind, but I have only fished it a few times and my day off I really need to bring some meat home. If the water was right, I would be headed to Dard and I still think I can do some good there in a few areas. However, I heard Brewer didn't get very bad after the "Monsoon." The number or size have never been at Brewer, but I always bring some home. I guess its still somewhat of a crap shoot until things settle a bit.
Just when you think muddy, high water is going to make things hard, you get a break. Got a 16" and 17" girl right after lunch time and another 19 nice sized. It was strange, because I know the visibility was really bad, but the bite was very good.
I was very excited to see these two come to the top thinking they were Stripers or Cats that were harassing me all day. Boy did I go through the minnows.
Congrats on a good mess in the muddy water.i used to stay home on muddy water days till a couple yrs ago I learned better.
