The state park area has dingy water backing in from the river . If we get a big rain the bayou could turn bad muddy .
I will be camping/fishing lake Dardanelle out of the state park Mon,Tues and Wed. Anyone going to be around ? Haven't there in a while any ideas on what's the bite ? Thanks guys

I caught 15 today, but I had to work for them from the wind. I donated a ton of minnows to the tiny stripers, had a pretty good sized LM Bass break off too.
Head north and fish the Illinois Bayou banks that Hwy 64 splits and troll deep under the power lines in that area if you can. The numbers either have moved off the banks or the bite was off some. 3 weeks ago, it was on and everyone in the boat caught their limit. They never seem to be picky on colors there as long as its tipped, but I like using the neon bright colors. Any timber laying in the water usually produced a fish today, but I couldn't hold on any brush piles deep from the wind. Wish I was heading back tomorrow
They must have stocked striper in Dardanelle as well as every pool on the river.
