That is a big lake to figure out . But has some big ones of most species . Hope your not thinking about stocking Stripers or Hybrids ? Go after the big Bream and Redears next month .
I am filling in for another biologist on a brood collection project (a species that is not liked) on Lake Ouachita and decided to drag my boat down. Another biologist and I managed to catch a handful of crappie on a lake that neither of us had crappie fished before in a couple of hours of fishing. We also caught several largemouth and spotted bass and a big bluegill. Beautiful lake but tough to fish.

Good to see you got some time to fish in addition to work. Nice catch.

Nice catch and go job on figuring the big O out!!
One of the Best crappie lakes in the state in my opinion.
This has been a great year down there. Catching lots of bigger fish, not sure if it's because the last few years the water was so high.
Not sure what species of fish yall
Brood collection is but I can tell you there are plenty of strippers, gar, and hybrids.
