    Default New territory

I have lived in Batesville for 6 years. Came up here from Centreal MS. I have a couple of people that work for me, they have been telling me a couple years now....."ya need to try Peckerwood".
Thinking of making the ride in the morning with a sunny forecast and nice temps.

Question is, I really have stated to enjoy the long lining on Greers, but Peckerwood .....is it suitable for fishing out the back or pushing the front.

    Thanks in advance.

I've only been there once several years ago. It had a lot of stumps then. Suspect it still does. There are some boat trails that might work but that's about it in my opinion. Hope this helps some. Good luck.

probably a disaster for pulling. about like Conway for hidden stumps.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Peckerwood is completely opposite of Greers ferry. Peckerwood is a shallow oxbow bottom land crappie lake.Has some big crappie in it a YO-YO ers dream.Have seen folks spider rigging .Would be more of a single pole around cypress trees, buck brush,YO-YO.Type fishing. New territory might want to try norfork lake or better Bull Shoals!!! lots of room for longlining!!bandits and roadrunner's!!
