Have the opportunity tomorrow to fish with a friend that lives on Mound Pond at Toltec. Never fished it and my buddy isnt much of a fisherman. Any chance anyone has some pointers or can at least lead me on the right direction? I know its a small, fairly shallow lake, but thats about it. I wont have a ton of time, so just looking for an hour with the sonar isnt really practical. Any direction is appreciated.
teach em early, take em early

Shallow Lake , I know someone that lives there . Best bet would be a fish the trees . It used to be full of slabs but they say it takes lots of pressure with all the houses built there .
