Southern Pro umbrella tube in purple/chartreuse. Never guess who I have been fishing with.

I have an assortment, not near as many as other guys I know. I use the Southern Pro Umbrellas and 2" Slab Slayers most. I had a fellow chuckle at me when I said I like to see what they won't bite when I am on the fish. I can say that two days in a row the Jokers caught less than half as many as the other baits I fished. I was fishing one rod in each hand and those days every other bait out fished it. It was a fun experiment that built confidence in the tube style baits.

The Souther Pro soft plastic weed guards are a life saver but I pretty much use Bobby Garland Baby Shad exclusively. You can be in a slough with calm water and that tail will still move.

Crappie Thunder for me. I have many other types in the tackle box that I don't use very often but they do serve a purpose. They fill out the otherwise empty spaces so it looks like I'm a real crappie pro.
