I second this. I just installed their Spring Back Bracket to the transom. I also puchased an Armor Plate that protects the transducer from side to side and front and back impacts. They aren't cheap but they are a lot cheaper than a new SI transducer.Originally Posted by Redge

I glued (jb weld marine stuff) a block of polyethelyne to the lower part of the transom because i just couldnt bring myself to put screws in it. Then i mounted the transducer bracket to the block.
