Thank you for your post noslab. I was just treated the same by my buddy Nimrod, who worked hard and put me on some fish. The kindness of people in this world amazes me, and through recent experiences, I have been the recipient of much of it. It sure made me realize the need to "step up my game" in this department. To be treated like this is the most humbling, and most amazing experience. I am thankful.

Can't say enough good about your friend. You only get a few REAL ones in life. Great story. Thx for sharing it. Congrats on beating the cancer, and hats off again to your FRIEND!!!!! Sharing your time with someone important in your life is irreplaceable and priceless.

I really feel for you, been there and made it to. Cancer treatment is bad. Melanoma is the worst one. Interferon is the nastiest treatment. God be with you.

I know you got a lot out of those days, but I bet your friend got a lot too.....it's a really great feeling to help someone out. I don't like the term 'giving back', because it implies that you do something out of an obligation. Your friend wasn't 'obliged' to help you, but he did it because he's just a really nice guy. You'll remember those trips the rest of your life, and so will he.
