Well it doesn't look like that on my graph but on Greers it does set up at about 30 feet and if it moves it's very minimal if at all.
I was on Greers today and it sure looked like I could see a thermocline. But it was deep. Keep in mind until I started pulling cranks last summer had no idea what a thermocline was. I thought the the thermocline would set up shallow and get deeper as surface water warmed? If so what am I seeing at 32 ' on my finder?

That is pretty much what the thermo cline looks like on my HB units, haven't been to Greers, but the other lakes I have been on look like that.

Thats definitely a thermocline! Now....did ya catch any fish?
And what was water temp?
Two good crappie and one eye. But I was only pulling two poles because my trolling motor is out of service so I was dragging two five gallons bucket to slow me don't enough to troll. Only trolled for couple of hour before dark Water surface temp was 74-76. Sure didn't think that thermocline started out that deep.

Those termites in that downscan 22-30' are big enough to filet. The fish farther to the right could be walleyes.
Stay after 'em

Best info I ever received on thermocline was when CrappiePro told me a year back that the thermocline on Lake Conway was about 6" off the bottom
