A tough fishing day for us to find bigguns.
Here was my best bite of the day. Came on a Chartreuse Jig tipped. Fought hard, but landed without the net. We released lots, but this was definitely a keeper until we got on the bank.
It's always exciting to catch 2 at a time. Did this twice Saturday. All were released to fight again. I always make that weird face when I lift something heavy.
I took out the trash the last time we fished there. This time, I told Carol it was her responsibility. Being a very obedient wife, she did not disappoint.
When you've fished long and hard in the cold and drizzle, and you feel your strength is starting to fizzle, stop by CJ's and get a burgizzle. Yep, I like em' a whole bunch.
Like I've said before, "If we are taking pictures, they ain't exactly tearing it up".

Great see'n two of my favorite friends again this weekend . Oh yea the fish are biting in your secret honey hole up there . Atleast they were today . Even caught a 4 1/2 lb Green Carp . I'll share a few top secret purple/chartuse baits next time we fish together .
Thanks for the the post and pics Randall!! Been stuck at work for 10 nights straight and boat is collecting dust!
After all that hard work I imagine that burger was good. The next time, if your even hungrier, try Browns Catfish buffet in Russellvlle.

Be careful what you put on the net. That top secret bait will get out and then the fishing will be ruined. I did find out if you tip em with a minner, they are ruined. The fish know when we leave the lake. It makes the fishing lots better when we are not there, however the way you started on them Saturday, you probably could had done the same thing then. Nice mess of fish.
BRM...I always try to be like the people I respect, and while my rapping is not up to par with the masters of the art, I have heard it does help with the bite when the fishing is slow, ta pitcha pitcha psssss. Given enough time, I think I could find that post
And I did. I searched for "ta pitcha"
