come here to Gold Creek we'll get you started and point you in the right direction... crappie are still in here guys are still catching a mess,,no limits though...Welcome to the board.
Hello, I'm new to this crappie game. I live near lake Conway but am having trouble actually figuring out where I'm needing to fish and how. I know that Crappie fishing takes a lot of practice to master and I can't wait to keep figuring things out. But on a lake with so much structure on it, where does a man start to fish? I have a boat and no electronics (besides a trolling motor) which is where I believe I am messing up since these fish move and are at different depths. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Welcome to the board. I'd take Dano up on his offer. I fished for many years with no electronics and I don't think you have to have them even though they do help in many situations. However, with Lake Conway being so shallow I don't think it's big deal. Conway is just a though lake to figure out but you can do it and once you do, it will be game on. Maybe some guys on here can give you some help.

trust Matt and Dano both and you will start to catch some. Both have helped me learn what I know. Some others have helped me to from advice and tips, particularly JigginpoleJoe, CMJ, and Crappie Pro. If they tell you anything, I would take it to the bank if it were me. Good luck.
