Bought on Lakeview Dr was the pink one

Oh okay, I think that's the one in Hughes? Can't help you there, still waiting on Hawgdawg to show me the ropes! I have a cabin on the Horseshoe in Augusta. Can't really help much there either. The Crappie fishing is pretty much non-existent there since the Asian Carp took over.......anybody want to buy a cabin?

I would suggest fishing the piers. Fish them from the shallow end to the deep end of the pier. With the weather stabilizing, I would think I would be in 5-7 fow as a starter. Look for shad as well. The fish are in their fall feeding and will be on the baitfish. If you don't find fish right off, don't get discouraged. Move shallower or move deeper. I would be using a 1/32 ounce head with a bigger tube such as an Arkie Pro Tube. Persistance will pay.

Its getting a little better Chris.....Billy and I went Saturday for a few hours before I had to go to Work. Still catching a bunch of dinks but did manage a hand full of good ens. That's better than the last few trips. We are having a maintenance outage at work Starting Oct 19th for 3 consecutive weeks, so it may be late winter before we can get together.....but we gonna do it.

I found decent fish on the piers fishing from 3 to 8 ft deep.

You picked a nice place to get a house. As mentioned above Horseshoe is a dock shooting lake. The key is to find the docks that have 15' of water at the end so you can fish the entire depth to find them. This weekend they were 5-8 foot deep. The other thing is find the docks with roof and deck cover. The water is 3-4 foot low now and finding a dark dock is hard. Most of the docks me and Randy fished this weekend you can get your boat under. Once again Randy and I had a good outing. Pay no attention to the background. Hollar at us if you see us on the lake. We both have stick steer boats
