I am sorry that you guys are having trouble, and I pray for Gods perfect will in this situation.

Sometimes them trial and tribulations are hard to conquer, but with God's intervention, you can be victorious.

My wife and I had some trouble about 6 years ago. Partly because some of our best friends were "swingers" and kept trying to get us involved in that. Had to put those two on the road and find some better friends. Alcohol was playing a part in it also. That's out now too, for the most part. I still enjoy an occasional beer at the lake or after I've mowed the yard, but not like before.

One major thing that helped us was we, together, read and went through the Love Dare book. I'm not overly religious, but I felt 100% comfortable in doing the love dares. Basically, the message behind the book is to put your spouse first and take their feelings and needs into your consideration and if they do the same for you, you won't need anything or feel left out or lacking in some way. We sparked our relationship again and fell in love with each other for a second time. It was and still is nice leaving little cards and notes out for her to find. I enjoy getting things from her too.

One can't have a successful marriage. It is a team effort and having jobs and kids makes a relationship even harder to manage sometimes. When you and your wife do manage some alone time or a date night, it means that much more because you know how much went into just the planning of the free time without anything to do except concentrate on each other and enjoy that time together, just like you and she did in the beginning. One of our first "dates" was a candle lit steak dinner for two at home followed by the movie Fireproof.

Hang in there DP. I remember how I felt. Things will get better, just try to put her first again and see how things play out. GTT
