    Looks like the wife and Catfish are loading up with me for an afternoon of fishing. and if all goes well, we will spend the night at Carters Cove and give it another go in the morning for a couple hours. If you see a camo Xress with a yellow C.C sticker ont he back, and a Tohatsu 25hp motor, stop by and say hi.

    All I can say is that Lake nimrod is going to have you heck of a Large Mouth Bass population in 3 more years. I caught a million 4-6 inchers. I never hit the numbers on crappie, but I did manage to land several hundred undersized ones. Ended up with a bag full of fillets when all was said and done.

    Wife and boy had a blast, I had a blast, so I guess the trip was a success.

    Ran into MD Persons and even saw the one and only Nimrod while I was over there. I talked to one of the CACA guys in the bait shop Saturday (he had a CACA shirt on waiting for a burger with his family), but stupid me, I forgot to ask his name, but thank you for the intelligence report.

    It was great running into you up there. I agree there is a huge number of small bass. I do not know which I caught more of tiny crappie or baby bass. Still managed to fill a gallon bag with fillets. Hope to see you again.

    My brother and i went up there saturday, i have to agree with yall on the bass. Had plenty of action just tough to find some decent fish.
