What was the winning strategy, spider rigging, pulling cranks, jigging?

Ditmore and Blair anchored on a top with big crappie!!! They ran away away with it using straight minnows vertical in the top where the big ones were

Chris and I caught part of our "seven" spidering with double minnow rigs and mid south tubes ... At 10 ish the minnow bite ended and we went to our mid day plan ..... Caught the rest behind Off Shore OR12 Planer Boards. We ran 6 boards with Bandit 300 pink crankbaits.... Using line counter reels we ran the cranks 45 ft behind the boards fishing 12-15 feet deep, and ran the boards 50 to 80 feet away from the boat. The distance away from the boat helped get the "spooky" fish ... Cranks directly behind the boat didn't catch a fish.
