I have fished those waters along White Oak Bayou years ago. Full of Grinnel , Chain Pickeral , and Bass . Not sure about anything else. The locals call them Marche Lakes. Back then it was a 4wd roads in through private property .

And Cottonmouths. Paul I grew in Marche and you gotta either be Polish or be real close to a Polish family to get to them these days. We use to have a tournament we called Grinnel Fest back in the day and there was never a shortage of those snakeyed looking creatures. If you wanna fish around Maumelle try Lake Willastein the AGFC put a bunch trees in there and marked them with buoys.

You can launch any size boat just can't use the big motor. I haven't played golf since last fall. My latest passion is kayak fishing the many rivers we have.

Yes trolling motor only and I wouldn't worry about the gas tank. The road to the lake is behind the kroger and the launch is on the back side of the lake to the right.
