    This an old post but lake is still over 15' above high spring level of 345 msl. Last time I checked it suppose to be normal (below 345 )on August 10 . water is stinking and will get awful nasty with all the water coming back into the lake from surrounding woods !

    A little smelly water ain't gonna stop you from fishing when it gets back to normal now is it? Lol !!!! Ole dirty stinking water prolly kill all the crappie anyway no need to go to Nimrod rest of the year won't be no more fish in there anyway!!!!!!!Anyone planing to go to Nimrod Lake this weekend ?
