Lake Degray question
First of all . Hello.
Are there any of ya'll that fish Lake Degray and if so have you noticed a steep decline in the crappie population over the last 4 years or since the moss left. I struggle to limit out now days and wonder if it's just me.I very seldom catch a little crappie and wonder if the Hybrids are eating them all.

I do think the hybrids have decimated crappie in DeGray since the moss disappeared. I used to fish DeGray almost weekly and caught limits almost every time. Now, it's hard to catch 10, even in the spring when they spawn. I've also noted that even the pickerel aren't as plentiful as they were previously. I used to catch pickerel when crappie fishing.
Happy Fishing,
Greengrub
