Are you talking about the Jungle on Greers Ferry?

i think he is referring to the break, down past arts pond, you pretty much need a two man scamper to get to em in there , but its another good wintering hole just to much trouble to fish for most folks!

I wonder if a guy could get in there with a jet drive? If so I've got the ticket for that, unless you have to have a boat narrower than say 5'.

the problem isnt shallow its that the trees are so thick and log jams and such cant get in there with flat bottom and trolling motor, need push poles and have to be stealthy

Gotcha, years ago we used to fish some log jams on Conway in the winter. We would lay boards out across them and walk out onto the logs and fish down in between them. The logs would be stacked in there 30 to 40 feet wide from the bank. For the life of me I can't remember where that was exactly, a year or so ago I spent the whole day going to different places on the lake trying to find those log jams but never did. Seems like there was a bait shop place and/or a place to rent boats pretty close to where we fished. I told a friend of mine last week I would get on here and see if anybody knew of a place like that and if it still existed. Ring any bells?

We were down there the last few days. I was surprised by the lack of boats. Only one boat in the pool while I was there and he was catching. Just as we were leaving, I saw a non motored boat with 2 occupants heading that way as fast as they could paddle.
