Good job, been tough week out there!!!
Chris and I met up early this morning with dreams of catching a few monsters. Unfortunately that did not happen. We managed to boat 15 and miss several more. Chris also decided to "release" a few directly off of his pole into the water. He catches so many fish that he doesn't even have to touch them to release them. Lol! We prototyped a rain umbrella rig to help keep us dry when it was raining. I'm sure we looked like rednecks, but it worked pretty good. I think a larger umbrella would have worked better. Today we caught them in 1' to 9' of water and used several different colors of jig head and jig color combinations. We never really locked in a solid pattern. We even used Russ's Midsouth 802 and multi colored jig head with limited success. It wasn't for a lack of trying though. I figured that I would post anyway since no one else has posted in a while. I wish this picture had more and bigger fish in it!
