Ozark rods are a fine rod, I believe all have their place in different situations. Go buy you some and see for yourself which you like better. I use both the 10 and 11 allot. I would bet if you asked Ozark which jigging rod they have sold the most of in the last year or so... my money is on the 10 foot rear seated Ozark. Hands Down. That in it's self should tell you something.

I am no expert but I like my 10' rear seat Ozarks for water less than 10-12' (aka Lake Conway) and like the 11' for pulling slabs out of deeper water. I plan on doing a thorough test tomorrow with an Uncle with both rods on some deeper water. Hopefully a few of them will be slabs to give them a real test.

Thanks everyone for the input. I think I am going to buy both lengths like CrappiePro suggested. That way I can have all my bases covered. I foresee myself using the 10's a lot more but I kinda feel the 11 would allow me a little more stealth when the fish get more pressured. Thanks again. It is really cool to be a member of this site. C u on the water.

The 12' b&m ultralight is a great pole, but I had one break about a foot above the grip on a small fish. I suspect a defect or damage while transporting. They are sensitive and you can hold one all day long.

I have nothing negative to say about BnM they are a great rod company also...and the most giving of them all BAR NONE. I own and fish with allot of BnM's also. I see what BnM has done for crappie fishing out of their own pocket and would defend that company against anyone. Ozark and BnM is with out a doubt is my Favorite rod Companys and that's all I fish with. BnM is one of the Fore Fathers of the long pole for crappie fishing... before they came along we pretty much had only fly rods and cane poles to catch crappie with . LOL

I got a bunch of used B-n -M 12' bucks jig poles and new front sections for sale if ya like them. The older models with ceramic eyes too! I believe I have a 11' ultralight too .

I did ride along with a couple riggers in Mississippe last spring but my boat is minnerless . lol They drug jigs but added minners, seemed over kill to me. Been other times I rode with minner draggers and refused to fish or held my jig poles while they drowned minnows. I kicked the minner habit a decade ago.
