Thanks again to all the Crappie Campers that showed up in spite of the damp weather! We appreciate all the good food that you brought too! And, great big THANK YOUs to Don for being our Chief Fryer and to Orville for bringing the Cajun Cooker.

In spite of the weather we had a number of Crappie Campers enter the Big Fish contest.

First place in the Ladies Division (and biggest overall) was Angie's 1-pound, 14-ounce White Crappie:

Brenda had second place in the Women's Division:

In the Men's Division, Orville took First Place and Gary too Second Place.

Thanks again to BnM Pole Company, Blue Wave Boats, Southern Pro, Timmy Tom's Lead Free Jig Co., and Crappie.com owner Ed Moes for all the prizes that were donated. Everyone that came to Crappie Camp got something!

Kathy and I had a great time at crappie camp, Jerry and Wendy really put together a great camp. Jerry gave everyone coordinates of crappie condos and helped everyone to know where to fish. The fellowship and the food was great. Met some new friends and visited with some old friends. Thanks to dr. Pepper for cooking the fish, hush puppies and fries for the meal Saturday and thanks to all the others for bringing the great side dishes, it was a great meal. Kathy and I fished with Jerry and Wendy Friday and had a good day of fishing with 60+ crappie and so much fun. Wish more could have made it to camp it was great. Hopefully there will be another one there it's a good crappie lake.

Default Lake Greeson Fall Crappie Camp Set For October 9 - 12

Must be a great crappie lake. Don't see to many 2lb 14oz fish this time of year anywhere.
