Sounds like the crappie are getting ready for crappie camp
A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

The bite is getting better and better the closer we get to Crappie Camp!
We cleaned 76-crappie and 2-bluegills. We fished with Rosy Reds, Shiners and jigs and caught a lot more on jigs than we have been. Most of the fish bit from 13 to 15-feet deep on channel drop-offs in 16 to 24-feet of water. The surface temps are still holding in the upper 70s but should start dropping again this weekend with a lot cooler weather predicted.

Hate to miss this one, but got reservations at Piney Bay.
My family has already had plans to camp with another family that weekend. I have a 2yr old and the other family has a 3yr old and a 6yr old. I will see if the group would like to relocate the trip to lake greeson for crappie camp if... there is going to be things there for a couple yuppy women and a few young kids. Otherwise this particular camping trip was originally planned for the women because it always seem they work so hard with no reward. So if someone will vouch that they would have a great time, we will be there! Also one other question, How are the mosquitoes near Greeson? We live in em year round and would definitely like to avoid them for the trip.
After seeing all these pictures, I would be pumped if the girls say yes to coming!!!
