Fry the ribs! Only cook as many as you can eat in 3 min. Then fry more. There fantastic hot ! But not so much when they cool off.

beat me to it. Been there when folks were catching them. Saw a fellow get spooled. He refilled his reel cast out hooked one and headed down the rocks trying to keep up. !5 minutes later he came back with his reel in one hand and rod in the other. The bighead carp was last seen heading for New Orleans. Those things pull!!!

throwing them up in the rocks makes it unpleasant for those of us who show up on the weekends. Been there after bowfishermen killed a jillion and left them. Pine Bluff paper mills were pleasant air fresheners for the smell it created.

They sure made it tougher when they hauled all those little round stones in. they turn more than the bigger ones they replaced. Gets warm down there too.

Anybody up for a fall carp camp on the Arkansas river? I wouldn't hesitate to cook a mess up at least once.
