Thread: Arkansas vs LSU

Nutt and the new OC (can't spell his name or remember it half the time, Mitch's old H.S. coach) had a chance to put Mitch in when Dick got shook up. They didn't, so they didn't the rest of the game. Reason? CYA, clear and simple. If they had put Mitch in anytime after that and he failed, they would have been held accountable, they missed their opportunity to find out and there was no other course of action but stay the course and keep your job after an inevitable loss. Oh the choices we make!!! But what do I know, I'm just a fishing guide who has to choose everyday, zig or zag.

Well, I am back to the real world after the long Thanksgiving weekend and see there's been a little activity on the Arkansas vs LSU thread. Personally I've been a little reluctant to chime in, as I now have a little crow eatin to do. Thanks to the Razorback football tradition I lost my bet with Shadow from the Louisiana board. Now I get to adorn LSU attire and post my pic wearing it. I may find a LSU teddy and thong for my photo which would make him question whether he really won this bet. I also get to purchase custom hand tied LSU jigs and don’t even get to use them. I hope they catch nothing but gar and grinnell. Being that they will be used in Louisiana they probably wont mind Ha.

I want all to know I am officially leaving the Razorback bandwagon. The Hogs have burst my bubble for the last time. When are we going to learn that the only history that program has is one of FAILURE and HEARTBREAK. If you disagree you are either stupid or dont know Arkansas football history. I was born in 67 so I don’t remember when we choked in the game of the century in 70. I do remember "Pass interference my a**" vs SMU in the early 80's, when we were a top 5 and choked. Then there was the annual undefeated except Texas years in the late 80's followed by blowouts to UCLA and Tennessee in the Cotton bowl. And who doesn’t remember the OMG we are beating Tennessee and going to go undefeated? Well Sterner fumbled we loose to a pitiful MSU the following week then get roasted by Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. This year is another for the history books. We loose the opportunity to go undefeated in the SEC play which is some serious rarified air. We will loose to Florida, and Arkansas will end yet another season wondering what could have been following a bowl loss to end the suffering.

Shadow your going to have to give me a day or so to get my hands on some LSU gear for my humiliating photo. Also I need the number for the jig maker. I may have him make a few jigs for me while my wallets out.

Congratulations to LSU. No doubt the better team won that game.

Your Razorbacks played one heck of a game and if it wouldn't have been for some bad coaching decisions I would be the one that lost the bet.

It is dang near impossible to go undefeated in the SEC (Let us hear any of the other conferences say that!) With Arkansas losing ONLY 1 game in the SEC that is a heck of an accomplishment by itself!

I for one will be cheering for Arkansas to WHIP the Gators! I do think Arkansas has a better team than Flordia.

Gooch there is NOTHING humilating about wearing LSU gear, just as it would not be humiliating for me to wear Arkansas gear had they won, they are both great teams!

As for the gar and grinnell, well you know what they say about us Cajuns....If it don't eat us first, we will eat it!:D And yes I have eaten both of them and they aint bad! lol!

One last thing, Your guys are begging me to have you NOT wear the Thong! They said something about it breaking the camera and the computer and any piece of technology that would have the misfortune of seeing you in that!
